Indonesia, know as its eye catching scenery and one of the world’s top rated destination for traveller. An archipelago with thousand of islands spread from Sabang to Marauke. Showing its own beauty surrounded by their soul-stirring atmosphere. Staying for four days and three nights at Labuan Bajo, makes me even amazed of it magnificent views. It was like heaven right in front of your eyes. Clear blue sky, waves dancing accompanied by the sounds of bird chirping had my stressed mind’s relieved.
Labuan Bajo would be a perfect destination for those who like water and land activities. The hidden gems under water, colourful corals and fishes swam around, felt like I’m in a Disney Princess “Ariel: Under The Sea” movie. I went to Pink Beach and saw the pink coloured sands. It was very unique, I had never seen any kind of coloured sands beside white and grey before! The weather in Labuan Bajo was freaking hot! The sun was scorching, but it didn’t stop me to go hiking. Padar Island definitely the best place, the track was quite long and a bit slippery because of the small stones and sands along. The hike was harder than I thought, yet all of those sweats and tiring walk paid off by the breathtaking scenery. I could see the whole island and majestic blue sea from up there. That wasn’t the end of the trip, it wouldn’t be completed without going to the famous “National Park of Komodo”. I was a bit scared at first, but accompanied by the local guide who told me a lot of the history of Komodo. This National Park was only filled with gigantic lizards and fun fact, these animals were could only be found in Indonesia, it also included in the world’s endangered animal. Overall, it was an unusual experience for me.
The trip had come to an end sadly, but I could say it was one of the most memorable. For those people who say that Indonesia isn’t as pretty as other countries, it is a big mistake. I would highly recommend you to visit Labuan Bajo as your next holiday destination but be aware of the desire for not wanting to leave the island!
